Mother’s Day gift under $75
We each have at least one day a year that we can keep all to ourselves. Thankfully, mothers get two! With Mother’s day fast approaching, many of us are wondering what on earth to get for our life-givers. If you are anything like me, you approach buying (especially of gifts) with a lot of thought and time. We want our gift receiver to know that we put a lot of thought into it, we don’t want it to end up in the trash within a few months (unless it is meant to), and we definitely want them to think of us when they see it. If this sounds like you, have no fear, I have compiled a list of perfect Mother’s Day gifts under $75.
My mother loves a personalized gift. Whether it have the grand babies on it, or her own children, personalized gifts just means a lot to her. A timeless gift of jewelry is a gift that can be worn for years and years. I prefer to stick with the simple, delicate jewelry when buying for others because it can be worn with practically anything. When I am buying for myself it is a totally different story!
*This shop, Naturally Bespoke, makes some very nice, real jewelry and it can be personalized which I absolutely love! The best part (well, parts) with shipping for lot of her products is under $50 and has a really quick turnaround time. It ships from the UK which may take a bit longer for state side folks, but it would be a lovely gift. This one that I linked to is a peas in the pod necklace and can be customized with the color of the “peas” and the initials.
*You could grab up a personalized Mom cutting board, it is so fun and definitely a winner winner chicken dinner for that mom who loves to cook! Pair it with a couple of cheeses and a bottle of wine for the perfect gift under $75. Speaking of wine of a good price…have you ever tried Charles Shaw wine? Commonly known as 2 buck chuck, this wine is actually now about $4, but is pretty good and so nice on the wallet ? . You can find it at any Trader Joe’s stores. Definitely put this in the basket to stay on budget.
*Summer is coming which means lots of trips especially to the pool or beach! Thirty One bags offers personalization on their bags which is super fun AND it doesn’t cost but about $10. I love having a big ole beach bag that can fit #allthethings in it to go on a watery adventure. Most mom’s will agree that this is precisely what they need this year.
I love a good ethical or earth friendly gift any time of the year. Chances are that you do too! Being earth friendly is not just a trend, it is something we must do in order to preserve our world for the future generations. If the mom on your list is of like mind (or just needs a little convincing), then these will be the perfect gifts to get her this year.
*Recently, I have been looking for a large bowl for my fruit and in my search I found these upcycled cedar wood serving trays from EarthHero.com. I think they would be a lovely gift with a couple of candles or even a thrifted vase with hand picked flowers for a super special AND thrifty choice.

*And speaking of candles, try out locally made candles from your local farmers market OR order from Eleventh Candle Co. which is made local to me in Columbus, Ohio by survivors of the sex trafficking industry. Purchasing these candles helps them perform dignified work and they can better themselves with the income they receive. I can attest to their amazing scents and quality workmanship.
*Sseko is one of my all-time favorite ethical fashion brands. I guess you could say that I am a bit partial because I worked with them for 2 years, but I am still a fan despite the fact that I left the company. I am sure you are wondering what you can get that is ethical AND under $75. Well, I just so happen to love, love, love their Brave jewelry and Brave pieces. The bracelet and the leather necklace are my faves, but they also carry a short gold chain for less than $75.
Pair these with the Brave pieces for a beautiful, handmade gift. I think for a Mother’s day gift, the initial pieces would do really well for a meaningful gift, but the Motherhood piece would also be lovely. I would love to see yours if you do buy one! Tag me on Instagram @MamaBsInspiredHomemaking so that I can see ❤
*Trades of Hope is another company that I love and like to purchase from. Their prices are a bit lower than some other ethical companies so that is a plus in my book! I am especially loving this “Love is patient” bangle and what a perfect message for a mother on Mother’s Day. Their love is deep ? .
One time use or edible products
For those minimalist inclined buyers or receivers, a one time use or edible gift is just the thing you should be looking towards. Now, don’t misunderstand me here. I am not talking about plastic junk that just ends up in the landfill, more like ends up in their bellies ? . When I am shopping for an especially difficult person, this is what I lean towards for sure! Who doesn’t love a sweet treat? Well, definitely not me ?
I first tried Cheryl’s Cookies in Florida when a package was sent to my grandmother. They sent a nice assortment and won me over with a pumpkin cookie. After moving to Ohio, I learned that they had shops here and shipped from here and I was in love. Not a good thing to fall in love with btw. But, that being said, they are delicious, can send a nice variety, and have special packages too!
So many women are just lovers of all kinds of flowers. I am, but I like the living kind. Send me a nice potted plant any day and I would be happy, but for those lovers of cut flowers, send them a floral arrangement. There are even subscription flowers that will be delivered to their home. Try out Bloom Box or Bloomsy Box for very comparable prices of around $40-60 a month. To be eco-conscious, ask for local flowers which saves on carbon emissions from shipping.
There are so many great gift ideas out there, but this list is definitely for the particularly mindful shopper. Plus, it is always a good idea to set a budget and still get something great, which is why I composed this list of Mother’s Day gifts under $75! I hope that you find a gem in this list and get the perfect gift for your special mama:)
So, let’s be real, you are looking forward to a special mother’s day too, right? What is on your wish list this year?
